Bumrah bowled Reeza Hendricks In SA vs IND T20 World Cup
Jasprit Bumrah is easily the best white-ball bowler in the world. There’s a theory now that Bumrah can even walk into the great West Indian team of the 70s and 80s as a bowler. That’s a big statement considering the West Indies’ team of that era was heavily stocked with legendary fast bowlers such as Michael Holding, Malcolm Marshall, Andy Roberts and Joel Garner. Bumrah is that good.
In the mega T20 World Cup final against South Africa, Bumrah once again produced game-changing moments. On the 3rd ball of the 2nd over, the Mumbai Indians superstar gave India its first breakthrough on the big day, bowling opener Reeza Hendricks out with a peach of a delivery that swung outside from the middle stumps. Watch Bumrah bowling an unplayable ball.

Best ever economy rate in T20 World Cup history
Jasprit Bumrah was given the man-of-the-series award after India beat South Africa by seven runs in the T20 World Cup final in Barbados. The 30-year-old picked up 15 wickets in 8 matches, ending the tournament as the joint second-most wicket-taker. But what set him apart from other bowlers was his economy rate, which was 4.17. Truly outstanding. His worst performance in the tournament was against the USA when he gave away 25 runs in four overs. For most bowlers, this might be a solid return, but it was Bumrah’s worst outing.
Bumrah’s 4.17 economy rate is now the best in the T20 World Cup history. The previous best was of Sunil Narine, who managed an economy of 4.60 in five matches.
