WPL Final: The 2nd season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to conclude on Sunday, March 17, with a game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals.
This is the final match every team set their sight on when the tournament started. But here we are, with only two teams in the form of RCB and DC. What makes this match even more interesting is the fact that the men’s teams of both franchises haven’t won the IPL title yet. So one franchise is set to end the wait with the WPL title today.
How RCB Could Line Up In WPL Final
With no injury concerns, expect RCB team management to be straightforward and name an unchanged XI in the WPL Final match. So, expect Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine to open the innings, with Ellyse Perry coming in at 3rd, followed by wicket-keeper Richa Ghosh.
Disha Kasat, Georgia Wareham and Sophie Molineux will form the crux of the middle-order. Renuka Thakur Singh will lead the bolwing attack along with Shreyanka Patil and Asha Sobhana.
