Sure watching the sport is fun, if your team is winning, or you are a neutral fan who just enjoys the game. But the game can also inflict pain that may last an eternity. Ask Arsenal fans who still think that the red card given to goalkeeper Jens Lehmann was unjust and a wrong decision. That was their only Champions League final appearance to date. And ask Royal Challengers Bangalore fans for the sake of discussion. Their pain hasn’t gone away since the inception of the Indian Premier League, way back in 2008.

IPL 2024: “RCB And MI” – The Meme That Is Trending
Social media thrives on schadenfreude. It’s a wrong place entirely for the people minding things. It is the worst place possible for athletes not fulfilling fans’ expectations. If you support a sports team that keeps dropping games, then forget about sportsmanship, that doesn’t exist between fans. The only thing that exists and will always remain till social media lasts, is the “Banter”.
And social media is rocking after Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered their latest defeat at the hands of Lucknow Super Giants. Although it’s RCB that lost the match, Mumbai Indians have also become the centre of trolling as well. It’s the analogy between MI and RCB that the fans are using for the memes because as per fans, MI and RCB both are fighting for the 10th place in IPL 2024 Table. Check out some of the best memes circulating on social media:

RCB vs LSG: How The Match Unfolded?
RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl first. It was a sensible decision as defending a total at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium has always been a tricky affair. LSG posted 181/5 after some brilliant batting from Quinton de Kock (81 runs off 56 balls, 8X4, 5X6), and Nicholas Pooran (40 runs off 21 balls, 1X4, 5X6). It was the same total that RCB (182/6) posted against Kolkata Knight Riders. The only difference was that KKR chased that total down in 16.5 overs, while RCB were bowled out for 153 in 19.4 overs.
