ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a strong 18-man squad for the upcoming T20 tour of Ireland and England. The 2009 T20 WC champions will kick-start the preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 with the three-match T20I series against the Irish starting 10 may, followed by 4-match T20I series against England.

ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Harish Rauf returns to full fitness
Pakistan received a significant boost ahead of the T20 World Cup as fast bowler Haris Rauf has been included in the 18-man travelling contingent set to face Ireland and England in T20I matches.
Rauf had suffered a shoulder injury during PSL 2024 and subsequently missed the recently concluded 5-match T20I home series against New Zealand, which ended in a 2-2 draw following a washout in the first match due to rain.
Pakistan made only two changes in the squad that faced New Zealand; only Usama Mir and Zaman Khan failed to make the cut.
Salman Ali Agha, who was named as a reserve for the NZ series, was included in the squad traveling to Ireland and England.
Mohammad Rizwan and Azam Khan have also recovered from their respective injuries and were consequently included in the squad. Azam had to sit out the entire home series due to a leg injury, while Rizwan missed the last two games of the home series against New Zealand due to a hamstring-related issue.
Babar Azam will captain the side after being reinstated as the limited-overs captain ahead of the series against New Zealand.
