So far, we are witnessing something out of this world in the 2nd test match inn Kanpur. Total carnage.

IND vs BAN 2nd Test: Jadeja achieves a milestone
After a two-day hiatus due to persistent rain and unfavorable playing conditions, play resumed in the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test match on day four in Kanpur.
Mushfiqur Rahim was the first to depart when Jasprit Bumrah knocked over his stumps in the 41st over. Litton Das (13 off 30) and Shakib Al Hasan (9 off 17) fell cheaply, but Mominul Haque, who remained not-out on 107, added 54 runs for the 7th wicket with Mehidy Hasan Miraz. However, after Mehidy’s dismissal at 224, the next three wickets fell within just nine runs.
The final wicket was a special one. Captain Rohit Sharma handed the ball to Ravindra Jadeja, who had gone wicketless in his nine overs, conceding 28 runs. On the second ball, Khaled Ahmed tried to flick it to the leg side but edged it towards Jadeja, who took an easy catch. With that wicket, Jadeja reached the milestone of 300 wickets in Test cricket.
BCCI secretary Jay shah also posted a congratulatory message for Ravindra Jadeja. He posted:
“Congratulations @imjadeja for completing 300 wickets in Test match cricket. Your discipline and consistency with the ball have been pivotal in India’s dominant run in the longest format of the game!”

Jadeja has now become the seventh Indian bowler to claim 300 wickets in Test matches. Anil Kumble leads the list with 619 wickets, followed by Ravichandran Ashwin (524), Kapil Dev (434), Harbhajan Singh (417), Ishant Sharma (311), and Zaheer Khan (311).
Notably, Jadeja has also scored 3,122 runs with the bat, and with his 300th wicket, he has joined an esteemed list of all-rounders. He reached the milestone of 300 wickets and over 3,000 runs in his 74th Test match. England legend and all-time great Ian Botham remains the fastest to achieve this milestone, doing so in just 72 Test matches. Jadeja is the second fastest, followed by Imran Khan (75), Kapil Dev (83), Richard Hadlee (83), Shaun Pollock (87), and Ravichandran Ashwin (88).
