Yograj Singh has once again launched a scathing attack on former Indian captain MS Dhoni. It’s well-known that Yograj, the father of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, doesn’t mince words when discussing Dhoni, whether in interviews or on social media. He has repeatedly criticized the two-time World Cup-winning captain, accusing him of not supporting Yuvraj enough during his tenure as the leader of Team India.
Yograj Singh’s latest attack on MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev
In his latest outburst, Yograj claimed that Dhoni not only destroyed Yuvraj Singh’s career but also suggested that Yuvraj’s success as a Team India cricketer was a form of revenge against Kapil Dev.
In an interview with Zee Switch, Yograj said that he envisioned making Yuvraj Singh a successful cricketer that the world would forget Kapil Dev.
“The greatest captain of our time, Kapil Dev… I told him, I’ll leave you in a position where the world would curse you. Today, Yuvraj Singh has 13 trophies, and you have only one, the World Cup. End of discussion,” Yograj said.
Yograj Singh didn’t stop there and made claims that MS Dhoni ruined the career of his son Yuvraj Singh, who, as per Yograj, could have played four or five more years in Team India. For the uninitiated, Yuvraj Singh’s last match for the Indian cricket team was the ODI match against West Indies on June 30, 2017.
“I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life,” Yograj added.
“That man has ruined my son’s life, who could have played for four to five more years. I challenge everyone to have a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said that there will never be another Yuvraj Singh.”

Yograj also proposed that Yuvraj Singh should be conferred with Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, for his contriobution to cricket in India.
